About us!

Aloha! My name is jordan deason and i am a photographer based out of the beautiful island of kauai. I have a beautiful girlfriend named Emma and two golden retrievers named Jackson and Luna. Together, we make up Kauai Photo + Video! I was born and raised on the island of kauai and grew up surfing on the south shore. When i was about 15 years old i had a surfing accident that lead me to not be in the ocean for a few weeks. As the time went on i decided i should make use of this time out of the water and grabbed my dads camera and started photographing surfing. The rest is history… By 17 i was working with Nick Galante and Christine Kube as a assistant photographer/small wedding photographer. Since then i have worked with several companies on island as well as many families and couples. In 2019 I decided to take a different route for careers and pursued Restaurant Management to see how I fit. After making the decision that photography is it for me, Covid 19 happened and the island shut down. But for 2022 we are starting off stronger and better as a small family business.
